Shelly Fryer Review
Shelly Fryer's Blog is a very insightful and awesome blog for any future teachers to look at. It gives so much information from how to incorporate iPads and technology into the classroom to videos of her students reading stories and even videos of the workshops she has been to. It is really interesting actually seeing a video of Shelly speak about her experiences in schools. She is really passionate about her students and that her students always share their work outside of the classroom. Digital sharing can be a good way to get their work out there. There are things that you have to do though before sharing students' work: getting the students' and the parents' permission.
All students should feel like they are participating in everything. She also uses learning journals which is important because you as the teacher can go and look at those and see what they have written down that they have learned. She also gives us many strategies on how to get those students' work out there. I love that you post so much from your students. The project of Bat week looked really fun and like the students really enjoyed it. I loved the video of the students reading the story out loud, that was so cute.

I love how she also talks about the importance of building relationships with her students. This information was in one of her recent posts called "Building Relationships with Students #GSPD". The school has done this by trying to make the school somewhat of a community. They have done a school-wide "Play Day" dedicated to student doing unstructured play motivating them to come to school and feeling like the school cares about them.
Overall there is some amazing information in this blog and I would definitely recommend everyone who is going to be (or already is) a teacher go and explore this bog like I did. You wont regret it!
