NOTE CARD VIDEO REFLECTION:
This week I used the photo booth on my mac and iMovie to make a Note Card Confession video. I actually didn't have note cards and didn't want to buy a whole pack so I used some old construction paper and cut them into note cards and wrote on them with permanent marker. I used the photo booth in the mac so when I went to put it into iMovie I had to look up how to flip the video horizontally so that you could read the words. I then muted the sound to the video in case there were any distracting noises in the background. You could definitely use something like this in the classroom with any age group. You could use it in a history class to maybe have the students do some research on a person and then do a note card confession story or just even in a regular language arts class to get to know the students better and maybe something bad that happened in their lives. I chose this topic because it really touched me while reading the story. It is just unimaginable some of the things this girl went through at such a young age and I felt an urge to tell her story. This could be a fun project for any age but particularly older ages because with younger classes they would need an immense amount of help to get through it.
